c.1938 Marx, No. 416 Flood Light Tower in Original Box
Outstanding, enamel painted pressed steel train accessory by Marx. Near mint condition complete with original box. Top section consists of a rectangular fenced black platform with two adjustable lights (right/left and up/down). These are supported by criss-cross system of interconnecting girders on top of a black platform. The lower sections includes a four sided rectangular red base set onto a black beveled platform. It has two brass screw connectors and is complete with its original wiring. The bulbs are working replacements. The tower comes with its original box which shows a full panel illustration of the lighted tower. Schematic assembly instructions are printed the other three panels. The catalog number and part name are printed on both endflaps. It's complete with all 8 original endflaps. Size: 10¼". Sold: May 2006
