Marx, 1954 Dealers Catalog for Fix-All Line & White House Set
Original Marx four page, full color dealers catalog featuring the 1954 White House set with eight presidents on the cover. Ike and Mamie were included. The remaining three pages are dedicated to the Marx' "Fix-All" line of take apart plastic and pressed steel vehicles. 13 plastic and three steel vehicle sets are shown. Includes suggested retail price for each toy. To reinforce the issue of durability the catalog repeatedly advertised its plastic toys as "sturdily built of Monsanto's amazing new Lustrex Hi-Test 88 Styrene" whatever that is. Individual parts for each set are shown making this an invaluable resource for determining completeness. The includes the very difficult to find Station Wagon and Airplane with passengers. I've never seen the Fix-All Steel Garage with convertible and hot rod shown on the last page. Size: 8½" x 11". Sold: Dec. 2005
