1952 Eight Mid-20th Century Hard Plastic Toy Space Ships
Eight mid-20th century hard plastic toy space ships manufactured by three different companies. All show very little indication that they were ever played with. No scuffs, scratches, cracks, or chips on any of them. Upright struts between the windows is complete and intact on all. I purchased them from the original owner. The grouping is as follows. 1) Premiere Products - 4¾", Bright red w/silver wheels, "Flash Gordon Space Ship" , near mint- with half of one axle support replaced (see photo below). 2) Gilmark Merchandise Corp. - 4", Deep blue, yellow fins, red exhaust, red & yellow wheels, "Flying Saucer", near mint+. 3) Premiere Products - 4½", Metallic bronze, brown wheels. Bulbous "Flash Gordon Space Ship", mint. 4) Pyro Plastics Corp. - 5", Bright yellow, black wheels, "X100 Space Scout", marked Pyro, near mint. 5) Premiere Products - 4¾", Metallic bronze body & wheels, "Flash Gordon Space Ship", mint. 6) Pyro Plastics Corp. - 4", Sky blue, "Pyrotomic Whistle", w/Pilot, near mint-, one small, faint melt mark.
