c.1965 Ever Ready Batteries Toy Counter Display Sign
Original hard cardboard stand-up counter display sign for Ever Ready Batteries specifically advertising "high power batteries for toys". Glossy surface includes illustrations of 1960's era toys including robot, airplane, racing car, film projector, and record player. Rectangular panel has original fold-out support on the reverse side. I believe that the exterior design and logo style of the two batteries in the center, plus the designations HP2 and HPII, indicate that this sign is from a non-U.S. source. Possibly the U.K. or Australia. Size: 7½" x 12¼". Sold: Sep. 2008
