c.1948 Crescent Toys, 11pc. Cowboys & Indians in Original Box
Awesome boxed set of 11 hand painted lead figures from Crescent Toys; Cowboys & Indians series. Immaculate near mint+ condition. Never played with. Never removed from original backing card and complete with original box. This is the cowboy set which includes eight men, one women, bucking bronco, and steer. Original box features a panel-wide detailed color illustration of the stereotypical image of Indians on horseback attacking a wagon train with flaming arrows. The yellow backing card has still has its original Crescent Toys embossed sticker in the center. The figures are all factory tied to the backing card. In other words they weren't removed and then tied back onto the card. Size: Figures range from 45mm to 75mm long. Horse 85mm. Steer 60mm. Box 14½" x 6½" x 1½". Sold: Oct. 2008
