1949 Ingraham, Bugs Bunny Animated Clock in Original Box
Outstanding animated character alarm clock featuring Bugs Bunny. Produced by Ingraham it comes complete with its original box, insert, and guarantee certificate. It's in superb near mint condition and appears to have never been used. Best of all it works great and keeps accurate time. The clock face was lithoed with a large image of the infamous wabbit in full color. His left arm is animated to move back and forth every second to give it the appearance of eating the carrot. A duplicate series of clock numbers in a square formation just below the "12" are used to set the alarm. It's very well constructed with a pale yellow, steel litho case, brass plated trim, and glass crystal dial covering. It has all five of its original brass plated knobs and two hexagonal nuts. The color printed box cover includes a different illustration on every panel. One of the side aprons has its original price written in red grease pencil. I've provided a photo of every panel. The blank box bottom still has its original die cut cardboard insert. The underside of the bottom was similarly marked in red grease pencil. The interior walls were double lined to prevent breakage. It also has its original Inhrahm guarantee certificate with mailing and service instructions. The form has never been filled out. Notations made by the original owner on the certificate indicates the exact date of purchase, price paid, and store name. In addition the buyer's initials were written in the upper left corner.
