c.1951 Hubley No.315 Kiddie Toy Road Roller in Original Box
Wonderful Hubley, No.315 Road Roller from their Kiddie Toy series. Old stock never played with or opened, complete with its original box. Old store stock. Perfect mint toy! Near mint box! Late-40's to early 50's design made using an injection molded shiny, green plastic body with silver painted louvers and center hood divider. Embossed "DIESEL" on both sides and "studded" with faux rivet heads. Features brightly painted, pressed wooden wheels; one in front (1" x 1¼" diameter) and two rear (5/8" wide x 1#" diameter). Original box printed in green, red, and white (now yellowed slightly from age). Two panels show a side view of the toy below its name and company name. Remaining two panels were printed with a simple view of a farm and manned road roller in the background. In the foreground are a Surveyor, Assistant, and surveyor's tripod.
