1966 Lego, National Periodical 1950's Ceramic Batmobile
Unusual two piece ceramic 1950's style Batmobile with Batman driver. Exclusive item manufactured by Lego, Japan possibly for employees of National Periodical Publications Inc., (publishers of Batman). Possibly a candy dish, the top section is removable and it has a hollow interior. It's an exact style of the 1950's era Batmobile complete with large raised tail fins and bat symbol battering ram. The underside of the car has the original Lego, Japan sticker and National Periodical Publications Inc, decal. The underside of the removable Batman lid has its original Japan sticker.
