1927 Marx, Sky Bird Flyer in Original Box
Fantastic early Marx "Tower Flyer" toy complete with original box. The toy is all tin litho powered by a spring wound motor. It was the second of two versions that were produced. Features a lead weighted 4½" Zeppelin lithoed with "Sky Flyer" on both sides, a 7" long spring powered monoplane with pilot, a 10" tall bricked tower with WWI soldiers and tank lithoed at the base, and a 24" metal crossbeam. Toy works great! Beautifully illustrated box shows shoreline with sailors and infantry. Bricked tower stands at the water's edge. The monoplane and zeppelin circle above. Side panels show monoplane, zeppelin, and tower without soldiers. Original printed and schematic instructions included on left and right side interior box flaps. Size: Box 10" x 5" x 5".
