1891 J&E Stevens, Cast Iron "Home Savings Bank" with Finial
Superb cast iron "Home Savings Bank" still bank manufactured by J&E Stevens. Original mint green paint trimmed with red highlights. Very nice late 19th century style home. I believe this was the smallest Home Savings Bank produced by Stevens. "Pat Applied For" appears in raised lettering on the reverse side. It was also originally available with a bronze finish.
