1978, Star Fleet Wind-Up Robot w/Shooting Gun on Original Card
I've owned this little plastic wind-up robot since I first pulled it off the toy shelf 27 years ago. I just thought it was neat. "Borrowing" from Star Trek and with a little help from the, then, Star Wars hysteria, the Azrak Hamway Inc. company came out with toy. It's never been taken off the original card and is still sealed under the original plastic bubble. The arms are movable and I guess the "shooting gun" refers to sparks that emit from the robot's six chest holes. Made in the "British Colony of Hong Kong". Size: Robot 3". Card 7" x 4" Sold: Nov. 2005
