1934 Arcade, No, 1330X Century of Progress Cast Iron Plymouth Sedan
Outstanding example of an extraordinarily scarce cast iron Arcade Plymouth sedan. It was originally available only as a special order purchase at the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. This is the first special order Plymouth I've seen. Tough to find in their own right, most of the special order Arcade Fair vehicles were Fords. This automobile has all original parts and paint. It has a cast iron body with a nickel plated cast iron front bumper/grille/headlight assembly. It has white, solid rubber tires with blue painted centers. "PLYMOUTH" is embossed in raised letters in a semi-arc on the passenger and driver doors. It hasn't any repairs. Left interior wall embossed with "133L". Right interior wall embossed with "133R", "ARCADE", "U.S.A", and "ES". The "Century of Progress" text on the roof is a pale yellow color. Although I found several references for Arcade's, Ford, Worlds Fair Century of Progress, I couldn't find a single reference for a special order Plymouth sedan. Size: 4¾" x 2" x 2". Sold: Feb. 2006
