c1899 A.C. Williams, Cast Iron Domed "Mosque" Bank
From the incredible collection of Donal Markey cast iron toys and banks comes this fantastic Domed "Mosque" Bank. Produced for 35 years by A.C. Williams it represents the period architecture of the ultimate successful bank building. The seven floor skyscraper is primarily silver painted, topped with gold roof, silver dome, and gold finial. Embossed BANK on both sides, it has a single rear coin slot, and original screw. A.C. Williams produced three different sizes of this bank. This example is the largest of the three. Bertoia Auction.
