1962 Gilbert, No.10201 Erector Rocket Launcher Set in Original Box
Fantastic 45 year old No. 10201 Erector Rocket Launcher set never played with, never used, in pristine mint condition. It's original steel litho box is brilliant. An incredible to see in person! This is a two layer set with two blue Styrofoam display trays. The interior of the box lid is lithographed metal, not cardboard. Original Erector instruction book still held in place with both original clips which were lithoed white to match the background. Set is complete right down to the hank of string and paper Erector flag. The wiring from the electric engine is still factory wound. Rocket is correct for 1962. Includes all original paper separators plus original parts order form. The second layer was not photographed, but was completely inspected. I could tell by the appearance of the paper separator that the top layer had never been removed. Classic steel litho box with red lower container section and hinged, embossed cover featuring a light black/white/gray illustration of the toy in action. The inset on the cover depicts a realistic drawing of the U.S. Army Rocket Launcher operated by four soldiers. Size: 16" x 10" x 3". Approx. weight 10 lbs. Sold: Feb. 2007
