1939 New York World's Fair Tin Litho Candy Sand Pail
Superb tin litho sand pail premium available at the 1939 World's Fair. Manufactured by the Up-To-Date Candy Manufacturing Co. With embossed tin litho riveted handle and rolled metal edges. The bottom interior is embossed with a lobster. Beautiful lithography on the exterior of the pail features a large illustration of the Trylon and Perisphere with "New York World's Fair" ribbon winding over and under. Additional scenes from the fair show the Federal Building, Transportation Building, Aviation Building and Hall of Communication. A list of the original candy ingredients was included.
