1961 Marx, Untouchables Battery Operated Tommy Gun in Original Box
Outstanding near mint to mint in box battery operated Untouchables Tommy Gun by Marx. Complete with original box. Huge 23" long rifle with awesome 1920's styling from the very popular television series. Advertised as "fires 840 shots a minute" it features loud continuous rat-tat-tat sound with synchronous in/out pumping action of the green barrel. It keeps shooting as long as the trigger is squeezed. Originally available only as a Sears or Montgomery Ward exclusive for $2.79. All hard plastic construction. Labeled in gold on the left frame "Official Untouchables Desilu Prod. Inc. Langford, Inc.". Complete with original gold foil bullet cylinder sticker. Best of all it works great! No hesitation. Continuous fire and LOUD! Original store exclusive box box labeled only with product name and catalog number. The Marx logo appears only the gun. It doesn't even have the Marx name and address on it!
