c.1956 Haji Mechanical Juke Box Bank In Original Box

Neat little tin litho mechanical toy featuring revolving three dimensional record (Red Raven label) and spindle. Produced by Haji, Japan it comes complete with its original box.

All embossed tin litho with transparent celluloid window. Lithoed with the name "Select-O-Matic" it's loaded with lots of details. This includes its embossed record album section with black and white illegible song titles, embossed red, white, silver and yellow front grille, upright records, coin slot, and "grainy" lithography. It has its original coin trap with functioning release lever on the front.

Wind 'er up, push in the rear switch and the Red Raven record starts to spin. Simultaneously, it uses an internal music box which makes a multiple tone clinking sound as the record turns. The rotation of the record is independent of inserting the coin. Pulling out the lever will stop the record. Best of all it works great!

Illustrated color box shows a smiling girl depositing her dough into the machine. It's interesting to point out that an identical toy was also produced by Yonezowa.

Size: 4-¾" x 3-¾" x 2½".
