c.1965 Jr. Sportsman 250 Pump Shot Gun On Original Card
Jr. Sportsman 250 single barrel pump shot gun! Old store stock; unused, in near mint condition on the original card. The original 250 vinyl pelleted ammo is contained inside a small box attached to the card. It too has never been used. Most likely the rubber bands holding the shotgun to the card were replaced. Huge 30" long shotgun. Realistically designed and molded in realistic colors. Made from 100% pure plastic. The toy loads by pouring the vinyl pellets into a chamber to the rear of the barrel. Realistic pumping action "fires" pellets "automatically". Gun is embossed "Shot Ray Line Repeater" on the frame. I tried it, without pellets of course, and it worked great! The original card was printed in yellow, red, white and black with lots of text. It shows a kid firing off a few rounds at the edge of a forest. It advertises "NEW SS AMMO". The SS was their abbreviation for soft and safe, but maybe they should have thought it out a little more. The left 10" section of cardboard is intended for use as a target complete with dotted line for cutting. Instructions on the back of the card (separately applied) describe setting up the target in such a way that you can use the pellets over and over. Size: Shotgun 30".
