1936 Marx, Black G-Man Automatic Sparkling Pistol in Original Box
Magnificent pressed steel clockwork sparkling pistol with jet black, high gloss enamel finish. It includes 100% of its original Marx G-Man color decal. A scarce toy in high grade near mint+ condition. It looks like it was never played with and still sparks with its original flint! It comes complete with its original color illustrated box. Features embossed metal surfaces with cross-hatched grips, attached key, full color G-Man decal, and three red glass jewels. It has the look, feel, and weight of what a 1930's kid would believe a G-Man gun should be. Once its been wound, a gentle squeeze on the heavy gauge steel trigger releases the clockwork motor and sparks start flying out the barrel. Simultaneously it makes a grinding rat-tat-tat sound. Fantastic color illustrated box shows a well-dressed young lad firing off a few blasts. The "aura" of four G-men stand behind him. Flint replacement instructions are printed on the side panels.
