c.1955 Regal China, Davy Crockett Figural China Cookie Jar in Original Box
Superb, painted and glazed, figural bust cookie jar of Davy Crockett complete with original raccoon cap lid and original box. Marked across the chest in raised, gold painted letters is "Davy Crockett". Underside is signed "Translucent Vitrified China, # C. Miller, 55-140B". My research indicated that it was manufactured by Regal China. Box is plain without any text, markings, or illustration. Size: 11½" tall x 8" x 8" (at it's widest points). Sold: Feb. 2006
