1938 King Features Syndicate Character Cloth Panel Premium
Early newspaper comic character premium in spectacular mint condition. This cloth "flag" was originally available only through a comic book ad published by King Features Syndicate. Beautifully printed on a canvas-like material it features nine of the most popular 1930's comic strip characters. Each is enclosed in a 5¼" x 4" panel. The entire sheet was outlined with a wide red border. (Please note I used plastic clips to hold the cloth in place while it was being photographed.
