1942 Unique Art Mfg. Co., G.I. Joe And His K-9-Pups in Original Box
Outstanding example of the classic tin litho mechanical G.I. Sergeant complete with his original box. In each hand this cheerful G.I. carries a cage containing two tired and bruised pups. Both pooches sport a gold K-9 tag. As the soldier walks frantically forward his helmet periodically falls in front of his face and then tilts back into position. The box is a simple text style. The name of the toy, manufacturer's name and juggling clown logo appear on two main panels and one endflap. It still has its original price sticker from Brains(?) marked down from 79¢ to 49¢.
