1955 Liberty Steel, Walt Disney's Official Davy Crockett Tool Kit
Scarce, lithographed steel hinged chest featuring illustrated Davy Crockett on the cover. Official Walt Disney version complete with photograph of Fess Parker lithoed in the upper right corner. This auction is for the empty tool chest. There are no tools. Features 16" wide illustration of Davy coming back to Frontierland. Bare footed kid run towards him as the school marm waves happily (I made that part up). Frontierland fort off in the background with teepees camped before the entrance. Hinged cover with skirting all around lithoed with Disney and Crockett names. Steel carrying case handle with push in locking button. Folded metal edges all around to protect the kiddies.
